When Jay Landes started a mobile windshield repair business out of his home in 1981, as an original Novus® MMII (2nd generation Methodman), few people knew what “rock chip repair” was. In fact it was a brand new invention being offered as an alternative to windshield replacement. He traveled all over the North Country demonstrating and selling the repairs, and making insurance companies and consumers aware of the technology. Some of you “old timers” may recall visiting us at a tent in a parking lot, at a county fair booth, or for many years a booth at the Bemidji Jaycee's Home Sport and Travel Show (under our former name).
Being the first one to offer the service in the area, the business grew quickly. In 1985 Jay started offering windshield replacement as well, and a year later set up shop at his current location at 2300 Bemidji Ave. N.
 In early 2001 the original name of the business was changed to Jay's Auto Glass Clinic, but we have been at the same location for more than 20 years. Jay has taken great care to build his business on the concept of quality workmanship and excellent customer service. We always take the time to do the best job possible, and refuse to cut corners or compromise on materials.
